Samsung Expands Flat Design to New 24-Inch Front-Load Washer Lineup at IFA 2026
Samsung Electronics has announced the extension of its flat design to a new series of 24-inch front-load washers, previously exclusive to select premium models. These new models are being unveiled at Samsung Connect, part of the IFA 2026 exhibition in Berlin, taking place from September 2-6, where attendees can preview them prior to their official release.
Hyoung Min Park, Vice President and Head of the Customer Experience Team for Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business, stated, “Consumers globally anticipate home appliances that complement their living spaces. By broadening the reach of our flat design, Samsung aims to provide a seamless design experience that merges aesthetics with practical usability.”
Enhanced Design for Modern Interiors and Functionality
The introduction of the flat design in the new washer lineup signifies Samsung’s commitment to evolving its design strategy across its appliance range. This design offers a flat, uniform front surface compared to prior models with protruding elements, achieving a sleek appearance that integrates effortlessly into contemporary home settings.
In addition to its visual appeal, the design improves usability with features like a larger door and a wider opening angle, simplifying the process of loading and unloading laundry. This initiative at IFA underscores Samsung’s dedication to extending premium design experiences to a broader audience.
Technological Advancements for Efficient Laundry Care
The latest washer series incorporates advanced technologies previously limited to high-end models, addressing consumer demands for quicker, more efficient laundry processes. It includes Bubble Shot technology, which disperses water throughout the drum to shorten wash cycles without compromising cleaning efficacy, offering a more efficient laundry experience.
The Ecobubble technology further enhances this lineup, allowing detergent to dissolve rapidly and distribute evenly, optimizing energy consumption and effective cleaning at lower temperatures.
Samsung’s new washers thus provide an intuitive and efficient laundry experience, aligning with the company’s goal of broadening user-centric design and technological solutions across its home appliance offerings.
Exhibition and Future Availability
Samsung’s latest innovations are on display at Samsung Connect, located at Humboldt Carré in Berlin. Visitors can explore the revamped washer designs during the exhibition from September 2-6.
The models showcased at IFA 2026 are developmental and subject to change. Their commercial availability is yet to be confirmed. Performance claims are based on internal tests comparing Bubble Shot technology on a WW7400D model to conventional Samsung machines, with results varying by laundry type and usage conditions.
