DevFest 2026 has officially begun, running from October 1 to December 31, 2026. During this time, nearly 1 million developers are expected to participate in this extensive technology conference to explore building, securing, and scaling in the agentic era.
This global event, organized by Google Developer Groups (GDGs), brings together a wide range of participants, from experienced software developers to aspiring creators, offering them hands-on experience with Google’s AI technologies.
The theme for this year’s DevFest, “Build, Secure, Scale: Developers and Builders in the Agentic Era,” emphasizes practical experimentation. Attendees will have the opportunity to work directly with various Google tools, such as Gemini, Google AI Studio, Google Antigravity, Google Cloud, Firebase, Android, Flutter, Angular, and Web MCP. These tools will be explored through various activities like live codelabs, workshops, and agent-athons.
